What made you choose a Simple Life home?

The properties are well designed and immaculately presented. My boyfriend and I love the style and interior design. We also like the fact that Simple Life is not just a letting agent, it feels like a community and we love all of the personal touches like the welcome box, the app, the forum and all the great offers you have available. I feel like it is tailored to me!

What is your favourite room in the house?

The living area- so open, light and spacious and a fantastic social space which looks out over the beautiful green park.

Cushions and throws to soften the edges and make it look cosy. I like my little ornaments and trinkets too which don’t really match but they are interesting to look at and brighten up the space.

How would you describe your interior style? Does this reflect your personality?

Neat, clean, cosy and neutral but with elements of jewels, glitz and glam! I would say this reflects my personality as I certainly like to be an organised and tidy person, but I love my home comforts and to get glam on the weekends.

Where do you go for interior design inspiration?interior photo of double bedroom with chandelier

My family and friends and maybe instagram. I’ve been lucky enough to grow up surrounded by my mum, aunts and sisters who have beautiful houses and a great taste for cosy, country style interior that has a bit of vintage chic thrown in.

Do you follow trends or stick to one style?detail of marble coffee table

Bit of both. I’ve always been a fan of neutral, pastel, calming colours in my home so this hasn’t changed much over the years. However, I’ve definitely growing fond of the raw wood look and lots of plants in the home which is dominating interior design at the moment.

Which room do you find the hardest to get ‘right’? What are your specific tricks to get around this?

The room I store my clothes in-one of the bedrooms- is probably the hardest to really get right, purely because of the sheer amount of clothes I have! I’ve had to really utilise the space in this room, keeping thick jumpers and winter clothing stored in suitcases for now in the wardrobes whilst making the most of under bed space for storing all my reading books!

Final thoughts on your Simple Life Home?

A  beautiful, chic, light apartment overlooking a friendly, busy park; a stylish yet homely haven perfect for the two us as we embrace city living in Manchester.
