A Festive Challenge: Simple Slay on the App

At the end of December, we brought a little competitive cheer to the community by hosting Simple Slay on the resident app — and what a response it received. Residents showed their determination to climb the leader board.

We were especially impressed by our winning score of an incredible 97 — a top result that truly deserved celebrating. It was brilliant to see so many of you getting involved.

Christmas Trees, Twinkling Lights and Furry ‘Decorations’

Our Christmas competition was a real highlight this year. Residents shared photos of their beautifully decorated trees for a chance to win a £100 shopping voucher, and the entries did not disappoint.

From classic colour schemes to bold, creative designs, it was a joy to see how everyone put their own festive stamp on their homes. And, of course, some of the stars of the show weren’t hanging on branches at all — we loved spotting your furry friends who clearly believed they were part of the decorations. Mischievous, adorable and very much in the Christmas spirit.

Thank you to everyone who took part and shared a glimpse of their festive homes with us — it truly made the season feel even more magical.

A Winter Party to Remember

Beam Park’s Winter Party brought the Christmas spirit to life. With a DJ setting the soundtrack, families and friends gathered to celebrate together and make memories that will last well beyond the festive season.

Santa made a special appearance in his cosy grotto, delighting our younger residents, while the ice rink hosted all family members. From spotting Elf on the Shelf to enjoying the buzz of the music and laughter all around, the atmosphere was warm, joyful and wonderfully festive.

It was heart‑warming to see families out enjoying themselves, neighbours chatting, and children’s faces lighting up as they soaked in the magic of the season.

Looking Ahead

As we step into a new year, we’d like to say a huge thank you to every resident who joined in, shared photos, competed, celebrated and helped make our community what it is. Moments like these are what turn buildings into neighbourhoods and neighbours into friends.
