Celebrating Community Across Simple Life London

At Simple Life London, community is about more than simply living in the same development. It’s about creating places where neighbours can meet, connect and feel at home. This summer, we brought residents together for a series of garden events across three Simple Life London developments - Anchor’s Point, Ark Soane and Clapham Park. With live music, free pizza, refreshments and plenty of sunshine, the events gave residents the opportunity to spend time with their neighbours and enjoy the community on their doorstep.

Celebrating Community Across Simple Life London

Bringing the Simple Life London community together

Creating a strong sense of community is an important part of the Simple Life London experience. While having a high-quality home matters, we believe the spaces and people surrounding that home can make a real difference too.

Our summer resident events were designed to make it easy for neighbours to get to know one another in a relaxed setting. Held in the gardens at Anchor’s Point, Ark Soane and Clapham Park, residents could drop by, enjoy some food and music and spend time socialising with others living in their development.

And, thankfully, the British summer weather was on our side! All three events were treated to fantastic sunshine, creating the perfect setting for an afternoon outdoors.

Live music, pizza and plenty of conversation

Sometimes, building a stronger rental community can be as simple as creating opportunities for people to come together.

Across the three events, residents enjoyed live music, free pizza and refreshments, with the garden spaces providing a welcoming place to relax and chat.

Whether residents arrived with friends and family or came along to meet their neighbours, the events created a great atmosphere and offered another way for people to feel connected to where they live.

A fantastic turnout at Clapham Park

Our Clapham Park community event was a particular highlight of the summer, with more than 50 residents attending.

It was fantastic to see so many people making the most of the event, enjoying the sunshine and spending time with their neighbours. The turnout demonstrated exactly why creating opportunities for residents to connect is such an important part of building thriving communities.

With live music providing the soundtrack and plenty of pizza to go around, the event was a brilliant celebration of community life at Clapham Park.

Creating more than somewhere to rent

For many renters, finding the right home isn’t only about the property itself. The wider neighbourhood, shared spaces and sense of belonging can all play a part in making somewhere truly feel like home.

That’s why community living is an important part of what we’re creating at Simple Life London.

Resident events provide opportunities to make new connections, but they’re also part of a bigger ambition: to create welcoming developments where residents can put down roots and feel part of the place they live.

From enjoying communal outdoor spaces to saying hello to familiar faces and getting together at events like these, it’s the everyday connections between neighbours that can help turn a development into a community.

Celebrating community at Simple Life London

Our summer garden events at Anchor’s Point, Ark Soane and Clapham Park were a fantastic opportunity to celebrate the people who make our developments what they are.

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us. We loved seeing residents enjoying the sunshine, meeting their neighbours and making the most of their local community.

And with such a brilliant response to this summer’s events, we’re looking forward to creating even more opportunities for our residents to come together.
