The Felix Project is a London‑based charity that rescues high‑quality surplus food from suppliers and redistributes it to communities, ensuring nutritious ingredients reach the households that need them most.
The team arrived with a van stocked full of fresh fruit, vegetables and essential produce and the Beam Park community turned out in great numbers to take part. Families took a wide selection of ingredients to support their weekly meals, filling their bags with healthy, fresh food to enjoy throughout the week.
The response was overwhelmingly positive — residents shared how valuable the support was and how uplifting it felt to come together as a community. The entire selection of fruit and vegetables was taken home by households who needed it and everything was gone within just a few hours.
Beam Park continues to grow not only in size but also in community spirit — and events like this make that shine brighter than ever.
