Clothes Banks Launch at Fresh Wharf

Following the success of clothes banks already in situ at nine Simple Life developments across the UK, we can now announce the installation of our first Simple Life London bank at Fresh Wharf, Barking.

Teaming up with White Rose, clothing and fabric that is donated through our bank will be recycled or resold, reducing the garment waste going to landfill and supporting White Rose’s key charity partners.

In the last quarter of 2021, residents across our regional sites donated over 1,100kg of clothing, generating nearly £17,000 income and offsetting over 4,000kg CO2 emissions.
